The business mission brought together a diverse set of experts and SMEs from Albania. The Thessaloniki visit exemplified this collaboration in action—facilitating learning, inspiration, and future cooperation among participants and hosting businesses.
Through this mission, participants not only expanded their knowledge but also became part of a wider European movement that integrates green transition, gender equality, and entrepreneurship into the future of VET and SMEs development.

Description
From Albania to Thessaloniki, our business mission gathered women-led businesses, trainers, and VET professionals for a hands-on exchange on how green entrepreneurship is being promoted and implemented in real business contexts. This transnational activity was part of the G-FEB project, which aims to strengthen the role of women in green entrepreneurship through vocational education and training (VET), and to bridge the gap between education and the labour market by fostering greener, more sustainable business practices.
During the mission, participants had the opportunity to observe and learn directly from women entrepreneurs in Greece who have successfully integrated sustainable and digital solutions into their business models. Through company visits, peer exchanges, and facilitated discussions, participants gained valuable insight into the practical application of circular economy principles, eco-design, sustainable production, and green marketing.
Impact of the Business Mission:
🔹 For the Albanian Delegation:
- Gained concrete ideas for implementing green practices within their businesses.
- Built connections with Greek stakeholders
- Strengthened their role as local ambassadors of sustainable entrepreneurship.
🔹 For SMEs visited in Thessaloniki:
- Shared their experiences and models for success.
- Strengthened transnational ties with potential collaborators.
- Promoted green innovation as a driver of competitiveness.
