General information
- Short Summary
- A Polish R&D institute offers product carbon footprint (PCF) assessment services in line with ISO 14067 and the GHG Protocol. Using leading LCA tools (e.g. OneClick LCA), it helps manufacturers quantify greenhouse‑gas emissions across the full product life‑cycle and prepare ready‑to‑publish Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
- Full Description
-
The institute’s multidisciplinary sustainability group supports industrial clients that need to:
- Comply with current or upcoming environmental regulations (e.g. EPD, CSRD) and buyer requirements;
- Increase transparency by publishing trustworthy cradle‑to‑grave or cradle‑to‑gate carbon data;
- Identify decarbonisation levers across supply chain, production, logistics and end‑of‑life.
Service package:
- Data collection & verification – assistance in gathering primary data from production lines, suppliers and transport providers; gap analysis and data‑quality scoring:
- Life‑cycle assessment (LCA) – modelling of emissions and optional impact categories (resource use, embodied water) with state‑of‑the‑art software and databases;
- Reporting & EPD – preparation of PCF report, EPD documentation, reduction scenarios and management‑level slide‑deck.
Optional add‑ons: benchmarking against sector averages, integration with digital twin platforms, annual ESG reporting support. A Polish Research Institute is looking mainly for manufacturing companies and seeks service or research cooperation agreements. - Advantages and Innovations
-
- Experienced LCA team with sector‑specific know‑how (construction, machinery, consumer goods);
- Robust, comparable results through OneClick LCA and international databases;
- Modular scope – from quick‑scan to full third‑party‑verified EPD;
- Streamlined data‑gathering workflow that minimises client workload;
- Complementary indicators (water footprint, resource depletion) available for holistic assessments. - Sustainable Development Goals
- Goal 13: Climate Action
- Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
- Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
