The SME with 100 employees produces enhanced materials for better batteries and is thereby powering the electric future. The company builds on decades of materials research to fine-tune & develop the lithium metal films and has an advanced facility for roll-to-roll engineering, application, development and production for industrial scale. The company has several patents in this field of application & would like to expand their production facilities to serve the automotive, aviation, consumer electronics & energy storage sectors.
The lithium films feature a thickness of 1–20 µm, a width of up to 800 mm, and can be combined with substrates such as 30 µm PET. Current production capabilities range from prototype-scale lengths of 10 meters up to high-volume industrial quantities.
The company seeks industrial and research partners active in the battery and energy storage ecosystem to test, validate, and implement its lithium metal films in practical applications. Target partners include battery cell manufacturers, module and pack integrators, and system suppliers, as well as automotive, aviation, and energy storage OEMs with a strong interest in application-driven development and early industrial adoption. In addition, collaboration with SMEs along the battery materials and manufacturing value chain and with research institutes or universities with strong expertise in battery technologies and advanced materials are welcomed.
