General information
- Short Summary
- A start-up based in Navarra (Spain), specialized in robotics and development of deeptech technologies, is willing to lead European projects related to regenerative agriculture and agroecology and has selected the Agroecology Partnership - 2nd Call. They are looking for partners such as start-ups, companies, associations, and research entities (universities, research centers) involved in regenerative agriculture and/or agroecology to join them in the project.
- Full Description
-
A Spanish technology-based start-up develops deeptech and robotic technology for agriculture. Currently, they are working on a robot that automates the recognition and selective elimination of weeds and pests in the soil.
They are in the process of searching for partners to set up consortia to take part in European projects. The company has already selected the Agroecology Partnership - 2nd Call, however, they will also consider other programs such as FEDER funds, Cascade Funding, Life, and EIC.
The agroecology partnership, funded by Horizon Europe, provides cascade funding for proposals that provide clear added value to at least one of the general objectives and corresponding core themes of the agroecology partnership, under which framework this co-funded call is being conducted. The call "integrating environmental, economic and social perspectives in assessing the performance of agroecology- value-chain and policy implications" focuses on the performance of agroecology, under different aspects: evaluating this performance in its various dimensions, quantifying environmental impacts, transforming value chains, and contributing to the design of public policies to better support the transition.
They are searching for partners such as universities, research centers, scientific entities, dissemination organizations, start-ups, spin-offs, and SMEs in the following sectors: agroecology, regenerative agriculture, soil health, fertilization, and agri-food chain. The partners will actively collaborate on the projects that will be related to agroecology and/or regenerative agriculture in areas such as R&D, development or exchange/transfer of technology, technology dissemination, or scientific outreach.
Timescales:
Official deadline of the call: 17/02/2025
Deadline for expressions of interest: 14/02/2025
Anticipated duration of the project: 24 - 36 months
However, as the company is planning to apply to other calls, they are open to receive expressions of interests related to these topics anytime. - Advantages and Innovations
