General information
- Short Summary
- The Romanian Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning company developed a decision support framework that uses AI and remote sensing technologies to identify optimal locations for renewable energy infrastructures, generating sustainability heatmaps quickly and cost-effectively while enabling long-term environmental impact monitoring. The company seeks partners through commercial agreements with technical assistance or R&D cooperation to maximize the solution's impact and adoption.
- Full Description
-
The Romanian company, based in Transylvania, supports businesses in accessing novel solutions based on the most recent advances in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: by designing customized solutions based on cutting edge technologies; using easy to use with simple and intuitive user interfaces, focusing on explainable models and effective visualization tools.
The company designed an integrated decision support framework for the identification of potential locations for renewable energy infrastructures, such as solar and wind power plants, with a strong focus on environmental sustainability criteria. Given an area of interest, the digital solution is capable of automatically generating a heatmap, by assigning for each location a sustainability index. Such index is computed based on remote sensing technologies and proprietary AI predictive algorithms using satellite images and derived products, which allows the analysis of large areas in a limited amount of time, leading to the solution not only being less expensive than traditional approaches, but also faster compared to reports prepared by experts. Besides assessing potential locations, the digital solution can also be used for monitoring in the short and long term the impact on the environment of a given infrastructure, for instance by monitoring changes in the microclimate, biosphere, and ecosystem, allowing the identification of mitigation actions in the light of reducing climate changes. By aligning resources with high-impact use cases, the company maximizes the value of its innovation capabilities, ensuring their applications are impactful and well-received in the market.
The company is looking for partners via commercial agreements with technical assistance or research and development cooperation agreements. - Advantages and Innovations
