The company was founded in 2014 by two brothers who have been deeply connected with rural areas and the agrifood sector since their childhood in Colombia and because of the origin of their family.
At the beginning, their focus was on multiple sectors not just the agrifood. The initial reason that they had to found the organization was to generate positive transformation in social and environmental topics and tackle through a business the challenges that society has. That DNA still continues.
Otherwise after their three first years and going through a financial and strategic crisis they decided to build a specialized enterprise in order to generate huge value for just one sector, their decision was to build a path in the agrifood sector because their origin and because the vast potential and the relevance that the sector has within Colombia and worldwide. Almost half the world’s population lives in households linked to agrifood systems, and the proper management of its value chain is one of the main challenges this industry faces. - Advantages and Innovations
