Wine house Ivan Katunar is located in Vrbnik, a village on the Island of Krk where viticulture and wine production have been the main activity for centuries.
Wine House Ivan Katunar carries on the family's wine-making tradition, which began with their first bottles in 1989, marking the start of commercial production.
Their diverse product line includes 12 different wines in total, Zlahtina wines—ranging from young to aged, sparkling, orange, and dessert varieties. They also cultivate Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Muscat, as well as the indigenous Sansigot for red wine, along with Merlo Zlahtina and Sansigot are exclusive grape varieties unique to the region, ensuring authenticity with limited production and superior quality.
The winery offers wine tours for those interested in exploring winemaking while indulging in local cuisine.
