Full Description
The family company is more than 30 years on the market. Its main business activity is development and production of standard and special cutting tools, fixtures for clamping, measuring, etc., unique robust carousel design storage system for toolings, equipment for the production of sheet metal bevels, modern high-pressure device for increasing the pressure of coolant, individual and central filtration aggregates, sales and technical advice on machining technology.

It has more than 10 years of experience supported by cooperation with research organizations not only in the Czech Republic, and by developing its own know-how (patents). The company has its own multi-axis UKP laser systems (picosecond, femtosecond) for R&D activities and small series production incl. measuring technology. Clean rooms are planned. The company´s competence covers cooperation in interdisciplinary fields – medical, microelectronic, optics, machining, biological.
Application potential of laser subtractive micro-technologies of the company can be divided into 3 groups:

1. Functional surfaces of macro/micro components, coatings and their removal or treatment
2. 3D entities on macro components
3. 3D microparts

Applications of laser micro technology include cutting tools applications, medical and biological applications, optical applications and cryptography applications. E.g. micro structuring goals in cutting tools applications are:

- Better material properties of the coating
- Microfluidic properties
- Reduced contact area on the rake face
- Reduction of the friction value
- Higher durability of the cutting tool edge

The company offers customised model of cooperation in the following steps:

Proof of concept → verification → design of technology for industrial production → implementation of the production-laser system with the partners → introduction into series production → evaluation and optimization.
The company considers the following types of collaboration agreements to be closed with potential partners: commercial agreement, R&D agreement, partial funding agreement.
