The SME is a Dansih footwear brand selling high quality barefoot footwear for children. Their sales are primarily made online, but the SME is currently expanding both to physical stores and to international markets. The SME distinguishes itself from similar stores because the shoes are “barefoot” shoes – meaning that the soles are flexible, completely flat and foot shaped allowing plenty of room for the toes.

The company is looking to expand their portfolio with a line of thermal rubber boots that fulfills the criteria of a barefoot shoe (see more under technical specification).

The Danish company is looking for a thermal rubber boot that fulfills all the criteria of a barefoot shoe (foot shaped sole, zero drop and flexible sole). The boots must also live up to the following requirements:
- The fit needs to be normal – wide.
- Material needs to be waterproof and durable, so it won’t be damaged by a long day of playing on the playground.
- Preferably natural and biodegradable materials.
- The boots will be sold under the Danish companys own brand
- They will need both a summer and a winter version and will take 1000 pairs to start with – split into 3 colours.
