The products are easy to install, “Plug & play” products that are placed “behind” the stove, when smoke develops they switch off the power or gas of the stove, which prevents ignition and limits excessive smoke development in the home.
Kitchen fires are responsible for almost 25% of fatalities in house fires, in addition, the kitchen is the second most common place where fires start (Source: NIPV).
There are also many known cases where food “boils dry” on the stove and the entire house fills with smoke with all the consequences (as they say in America “Fire doesn't kill people, smokes does”).
Before a kitchen fire, there is always a lot of smoke development (which sets off the smoke detector), because their plug & play solution, which can easily be installed in all existing situations, then shuts off the gas or power to the stove, it no longer ignites, which prevents kitchen fires. Also in the mentioned case of “boiling dry”, the smoke development is greatly limited because the stove is switched off in time.
In America, these solutions have been successfully applied by real estate landlords for more than 10 years. End users are residents of homes, care homes or other (temporarily) rented residential units.
Actual customers will be real estate landlords who invest in fire prevention, but also, for example, care providers for elderly people who live at home longer.
