- An Italian engineer is looking for a partner capable of producing and marketing an invention by establishing a dedicated company and making its patent available to it through an exclusive license agreement. The product offered is an innovative and environmentally friendly cigarette package with a unique design in the world, which allows to extinguish cigarette stubs and store them inside. This solution allows a drastic reduction in pollution due to cigarette stubs dispersed in the environment.

- The object of the patent consists of an innovative cigarette package whose peculiarities are represented by innovative elements such as a stubs-extinguisher strip, a cigarette stubs-holder capsule inserted in the head and a flap separating the extinguished cigarette stubs from the new cigarettes. Main components will be made using the aluminium alloy die-casting technique as it represents the best fireproof material with an attractive design. The intent is to produce and market the product through the main online sales channels as eco-friendly cigarette cases perhaps advertised by environmental associations and/or influencers on the main social network platforms. The possibility of receiving European funding for the implementation of the project, according to the green environmental policy that has been very popular in recent years, should also be evaluated.
- Advantages and Innovations
- The packet could find adequate space for diffusion in the State of Spain, following the «BOE» law n. 85 of 04/09/2022 entered into force on 04/10/2022 reference: BOE-A-2022-5809 (https://www.boe.es/eli/es/l/2022/04/08/7) issued by the Spanish Government through the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge of Madrid, according to which starting from 01/06/2023 tobacco producers are obliged to pay the costs of collecting abandoned cigarette stubs. This invention could therefore help large tobacco multinationals to reduce the costs of cigarette stubs collection as they are obliged by law. A further possible advantage could be the use of this device for the collection and subsequent recycling of materials present in extinguished cigarette stubs, such as cellulose acetate used for the creation of objects through various technologies such as injection printing, 3D printers, die casting, etc., serving companies in the sector. Furthermore, it would be desirable to launch this product on the market, making it a real fashion object aimed at raising awareness among people to prevent them from continuing to abandon extinguished cigarette stubs in the environment, making it much healthier for everyone.
