A Finnish innovative food tech company is working to decarbonise the alcohol industry by producing drinks from carbon dioxide released during alcohol fermentation.
The company, founded in 2021, has developed a unique technology and plant-based bioprocess. The technology enables captured carbon to be used as a raw material in the production of a new type of drinks by breweries and distilleries.
With the new closed carbon loop technology the carbon footprint of drinks can be reduced by 50%.
The company is seeking suppliers of biomass sidestreams from food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and animal feed companies under supplier agreement. - Advantages and Innovations
