General information

Short Summary
The company has developed a patented solution that allows concrete and cement manufacturers to use carbon dioxide to improve their products while permanently storing CO2 in the process. This innovative technology offers several advantages, including lower costs by reducing the amount of cement needed in the concrete mix and faster production times. Additionally, it ensures that CO2 is permanently embedded in the concrete products, significantly decreasing their environmental impact.
Full Description
The patented technical solution helps concrete manufacturers turn building materials from a significant emission source into a carbon sink.

The technical solution comes with the service platform, which the construction industry can utilize to store carbon dioxide simultaneously.

The company provides the ultimate curing method for concrete with a tailored carbon footprint for its products. The solution makes concrete and concrete production cheaper, faster, stronger, and greener.

Three main qualities make the solution unique:

1. Utilize and store

With the solution, our clients can both use carbon dioxide to improve their products and permanently store it in the same process. The technology's benefits range from lower costs due to the possibility of decreasing the amount of cement in the concrete mix to faster production times.

At the same time, the technology stores CO2 permanently into concrete products and significantly reduces their environmental impact.

2. Permanent storage through mineralization

The solution sinks carbon dioxide into building materials with a mineralization process that turns CO2 into carbonates—CO2 to CO3 if you allow a harsh simplification of the chemistry. This process occurs naturally on the surface of concrete, but the solution makes it much faster. The result is permanent carbon storage.

3. It is a service

The solution naturally requires some hardware and comes with care and CO2 sourcing services, but the heart of the solution is the service platform. This cloud-based software solution measures, manages, and optimizes the usage and flow of CO2 in the process.

The service platform also verifies, certifies, and reports the amount of CO2 carbonated into the concrete products so that our customers can report the environmental benefits and certify their carbon credits.

We have seen excellent results in the first factory in Finland, where the company's CO2 curing system has been installed. The client has already produced several low-carbon concrete products with significant cement reduction, lower CO2 footprint, and increased strength with precision curing.
Advantages and Innovations
1. Cement savings
Lower production costs with reduced cement content and alternative binders.

2. Faster production
Increased production capacity through accelerated curing.

3. Quality improvement
Improved mechanical properties and stability of concrete.

4. Carbon negative products
Lower CO2 emissions verified and certified with one service platform.
