A Finnish SME, established 2009, develops and produces solutions for biosciences and pharma industry. The product range includes e.g. extraction kits and magnetic tools. The kits are based on magnetic particle technologies, and manual pipette-like tools mimicking automated workstations.
The products are especially suitable for crop protection and seed analysis of microbial nucleic acids. The kits and tools are currently widely used in many European national state labs.
The company is looking for distributors especially in Germany, Switzerland, Poland and Greece to distribute these Plant DNA Extraction kits and magnetic tools. The distributors should have expertise and experience in biotech laboratory equipment and sales channels to food laboratories and comparable organisations. - Advantages and Innovations
- The pipette-like tool can be used to process large sample volumes and particle amounts due to a strong magnet. Rather than immobilising magnetic particles and removing liquid, the approach is to move magnetic particles from liquid and resuspend the particles to a given solution. The particles can thus be moved rapidly and effortlessly from one purification stage to the next. The kits are scalable (small-medium-large) meaning that the amounts of reagents used are directly proportional to the sample size.
