General information

Short Summary
A COP28 Climate Innovator and a FoodTech 500 startup, offering an automation platform that monitors food quality, reduces food losses and enhances consumer trust for perishable foods is looking for commercial projects. Current emphasis on seafood and dairy sectors
Full Description
The company's platform combines 3 core components for the perishable food industry:
(i) The traceability automation cloud module simplifies data collection, through cloud and mobile user interfaces, IoT sensors and standardized data exchange interfaces, with all transactions secured on their Blockchain, for a secure and verifiable record. It is also currently the only EU GDST (International Seafood Traceability Data Exchange Standard) capable solution
(ii) Their Quality module Engine using AI, aims to report outlier events and suggest improvements based on collected data or sensory inputs from IoT or mobile NIR devices. It also leverages predictive microbiology to give a dynamic shelf-life indication (by estimating bacterial population growth).
(iii) Finally, their Consumer Engagement module provides a holistic view of the product’s story to consumers, and inspectors, through QR codes on packaging.
Advantages and Innovations
Their Unique Value Proposition is that they combine traceability and quality information in real time, so that decision makers can have additional business intelligence and potentially can decide early on how to process / ship / sell or promote their product, as well as share their product’s provenance and quality to consumers, retailers or inspectors. This information helps reduce food losses, product returns, product downgrades and unnecessary costs.
