A French company specialising in the import/export of food products from Algeria for the European market. It currently offers olive oil and fresh dates (see pictures).

Algerian olive oil is still little known on European markets, compared with oils from better-known origins such as Spain and Italy. This lack of awareness creates a price differential that is advantageous for consumers, even if the quality is high. Production costs in Algeria are lower overall, thanks in particular to lower energy and labour costs than in competitor countries. This makes it possible to offer more competitive prices.

Despite these attractive prices, the Algerian oil offered by the French importer remains a top-of-the-range product, produced in the traditional way using ancestral know-how handed down from generation to generation. This method of production guarantees an oil that is rich in flavour, authentic and respectful of local traditions. This cold-extracted virgin oil, of superior quality but not organic, is packaged in 75cl/1L bottles for private consumers, and in 20L cans or 100L/200L drums for the food and cosmetics industries.

Fresh dates are imported from Algeria and packaged in 1kg/500g cardboard boxes for consumers or in bulk for the food industry.

The French SME is looking for commercial partners interested in distributing in exclusivity the high-quality bottled olive oil or the fresh dates in tins or bulk. Distribution agreements are sought.
