In order to make growing bundles, the SME is currently looking for a manufacturer of pellets made from organic straw (the long yellow hard stalks of cereals such as wheat, barley...) ideal for growing mushrooms. The French low-tech company has specialising in the development of mycelium and the production of numerous varieties of organic mushrooms.
The SME has a fast-growing activity and is looking for supplier of straw pellets certified organic in order to increase the production of growing bundles and mushrooms of high quality.
The company is looking for a long-term partner able to provide regularly quantity of such organic straw pellets. Currently, the SME is willing to import from 500kg up to 2,5tons of pellets, to be delivered in Brittany, France.

Delivered products must be certified organic.
The pellets must be made only from organic straw (the long yellow hard stalks) grown exclusively from organic cereal crops (barley, malt, wheat, sorghum, millet, rye, maize, etc) after harvest, commonly used for animal bedding.
The pellets should not be made from hay or dried grass, which are commonly used for animal feed, as not all varieties of mushroom can grow on these inputs.
