General information
- Short Summary
- Sale of used electric vehicle batteries for reuse in an identical vehicle as a replacement or for recycling as part of another electrical energy storage application, for example for the production of green energy such as photovoltaics
- Full Description
-
The French Company is a specialist in new and used car parts, and recently the French company adapted to the arrival of damaged electric vehicles. Electric vehicle batteries are therefore dismantled and evaluated for resale to partners who can reuse or recycle them.
Types of batteries currently on sale:
LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries: Recognised for their thermal stability and safety. They are used in certain versions of the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y, as well as the MG42.
NMC (Nickel-Manganese-Cobalt) batteries: offer a good balance between energy density and cost. Used in models such as the BMW iX3 and the Volvo EX305.
NCA (Nickel-Cobalt-Aluminium) batteries: Stand out for their high energy density and long life. Used in models such as the Tesla Model S and Model X5. - Advantages and Innovations
-
Allows to benefit from batteries at lower cost and avoid the pollution associated with storing or destroying this equipment when it can be reused.
Key features:
Energy density: NCA and NMC batteries have a higher energy density, enabling greater autonomy5
.
Safety: LFP batteries are particularly stable and safe2
.
Performance: NCA and NMC batteries offer better performance, particularly at high temperatures5
.
Durability: LFP batteries generally last longer2
.
Cost: LFP batteries are often cheaper than NMC and NCA batteries. - Technical Specification or Expertise Sought
