The German startup is specialised in the development, production and trade of compostable, 100% eco-friendly seed confetti with the seeds of over 20 native wild plant species. It is a green, sustainable product, but also an experience. The founders of the company want to use this to replace regular confetti.
The company was established with the goal of building a sustainable, agile, social and innovative company that makes an important contribution to the preservation, increase and knowledge of the importance of biodiversity. In doing so, they want to achieve a positive impact on the social and physical environment.
The seed confetti is available as seed confetti and confetti without seed, in different packaging sizes, also branded in own design. Compared to other eco-friendly confetti, it is unique as the carrier is made of starch and is fully biodegradable. In addition, it has flight characteristics like confetti and also feels like confetti. It is used at weddings, at events, in the event sector, as a give-away and advertising material for companies.
Distribution is via their own online shop and other plattforms; stationary the confetti can be bought in zero waste stores, at florists, gift shops, furniture stores, bookstores, beauty stores, garden centers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Through a cooperation with an Italian biodiversity institute, they get many orders from Italy. They would like to professionalise the export to Italy and look therefore for a suitable partner under a commercial agreement. This could be an import company, a distributor or a sales representative for consumer goods, advertising materials, decoration, give-aways, gift items, etc. who can place the product on the Italian market.
