Thus, they are looking for manufacturers who are able to produce slug collars to protect plants from snail made of high quality plastic. Cooperation under a commercial agreement is envisaged.

The German family business successfully sells various consumer products online. New products are continuously added to their portfolio. Their products are sold under their own brand via well-known international online market places and in the company's own online shop. Trade takes place mainly to end customers (B2C) and, to a small extent, also to business customers. The company has its headquarters and warehouse in central Germany with a direct connection to the largest motorways and thus a good infrastructure connection.
The company is now looking for manufacturers of slug & snail plant protection collars made of plastic (e.g. PP) to protect plant seedlings in private gardens according the following specifications:
Technical requirements:
- Height: 15 cm (+3 cm extension)
- Diameter: 23 cm
- Material thickness: At least 1.3 mm
- Weight per piece: At least 82 g
- Stability: Must be dimensionally stable; the earth part in particular must not bend
- Additional reinforcement: Central stabilisation to increase durability
- Surface: Smooth design, no ribbing
- Collar length: Approx. 4 cm (slight variations possible)
- Colours: Transparent and green
- Material properties: UV-resistant and weatherproof
- Packaging: Set of 12 pieces
Initial order:
- Transparent version: 1,200 sets of 12 pieces
- Green version: 800 sets of 12 pieces
- Total quantity: 24,000 pieces of plant protection collars
The company would like to discuss details regarding production costs per unit, available materials and production processes, production time, delivery conditions (shipping to Germany) and minimum order quantity (MOQs). They would also ask for samples for testing the quality.
