-
The aim of the project is to create an internationally oriented and networked vocational training centre for the specific region in Germany, where the educational network is situated, and that can be used for both digital and on-site offerings. CoVEs address three target groups: Vocational training centres, companies and employees. The aim is to offer the above-mentioned sectors a comprehensive, always available (digital), modern and, in particular, practice-oriented training programme, which companies can access for the qualification and development of their employees and which provides vocational school teachers with modern, application-oriented teaching material.
The CoVE can be used individually and jointly by all target groups,

and includes the following activities:
- at least 4 activities from Cluster 1 ‘Teaching and Learning’
- at least 3 activities from Cluster 2 ‘Collaboration and Partnerships’ and
- at least 2 activities from Cluster 3 ‘Management and Funding’
The aim is to
- to close existing gaps between vocational schools and training companies in terms of school-based training content,
- to provide developing companies (e.g. expansion of production capacities, restructuring, internationalisation) with the necessary technical tools quickly and with little effort,
- to promote the networking of companies in a sector with partner organisations from other regions of the EU and thereby promote new, innovative approaches and solutions, e.g. as part of project work.
- to conserve resources by utilising innovative teaching and learning methods without compromising quality.
The existing project partners are a vocational training centre from Denmark, a developer of international vocational training projects (Spain) and the a Chamber of Crafts and Entrepreneurship in Poland. The projects with the second partners in each country are currently being finalised.
For the successful establishment and sustainable operation of the CoVE, the following steps will be taken first:
