The German company was founded in 1989. Since then SME has constantly been developing in terms of employees, products, machinery and the expansion of the production halls. Its products are made from drawn steel wire with a zinc-aluminium coating using the spot welding process, efficiently and economically on state-of-the-art production facilities. The results are first-class products for many different purposes, from landscaping to geotechnical engineering. Even project-specific requirements were taken into account.
The employees have extensive specialist knowledge and many years of experience and advise the customers on development and construction and accompany their project until final realisation. The company is therefore available to the customers as a trustworthy and competent partner for standard and individual solutions. Extensive warehousing enables the SME to deliver ordered items at short notice.
Alongside spot-welded wire grids for different gabions, the product portfolio includes compacted and pre-filled transportable gabion baskets for different scopes of application, for example for slope stabilisation, noise protection and private gardening.
In close cooperation with material testing institutes at universities, the German SME carries out long-term corrosion tests and corrosion tests in a maritime atmosphere. Together with short-term tests in the laboratory, such as the salt spray test according to DIN EN ISO 9227, corrosion protection systems can be reliably assessed.
The quality management is certified according to ISO 9001: 2015. Well-thought-out processes contribute decisively to the quality of the products and services.
Moreover, the company is a member of the German Institute for Standardization (DIN) and supports this proven system. Further, it is a user of the GABIONEN quality mark recognized by RAL (the German institute of quality assurance and labelling) in the product-related metals sector for the manufacture of gabions and gabion structures. The GfG (German Quality Association for Gabions) thus distinguishes companies whose products and/or services comply with the general and respective special Quality and Testing Regulations of the Quality Assurance for Gabions and Gabion Structures RAL-GZ 612 and which contribute to the further development, distribution and quality improvement of gabions and gabion structures. - Advantages and Innovations

TheSME is user of the quality mark GABIONS according to quality assurance RAL-GZ 612 and has an ETA (European Technical Assessment) according to EAD 200020-00-12. Declarations of performance and CE-marking can be provided to the customers.

The company is looking for sales partners in the building materials business and/or metal trades in Europe. These should be country-specific partners. Existing knowledge and experience in the wire mesh trade and wire mesh installation as well as the understanding of building a quality brand in their own country are desirable.
Our partners should therefore have sufficient knowledge of the market and preferably have a good network and established contacts so that our products can be advertised and marketed perfectly.
