General information

Short Summary
A German start-up located in Cologne designed a breast pillow to relieve pressure on a painsensitive
breast while lying on the stomach or side. It is ideal for use immediately after surgery or for long-term comfort in cases of breast sensitivity due to surgery, pregnancy, the menstrual cycle, larger cup sizes, lactation, menopause, and more. The company seeks commercial agreements worldwide.
Full Description
After breast surgery, doctors will prescribe that patients should avoid lying on their stomach or side for at least twelve weeks. However, lying purely on the back overnight without the possibility of relieving the body by changing position leads relatively quickly to pain, tension and lack of sleep.
A German start-up located in Cologne designed a breast pillow to relieve pressure on a painsensitive breast while lying on the stomach or side. It is ideal for use immediately after surgery or for long-term comfort in cases of breast sensitivity due to surgery, pregnancy, the menstrual cycle, larger cup sizes, lactation, menopause, and more. Beyond medical use, it has proven effective in non-clinical settings such as physical therapy practices, chiropractic offices, wellness centers, and spa facilities in hotels.
The pillow is recognised as a medical product with both U.S. and European patents.
The company is looking for a sales partner for a commercial agreement. Conceivable partnerships could be collaborations with wholesalers, distributors, or retailers to sell locally; licensees or patent buyers for regional production rights; and private label agreements for companies to sell under their own brand.
Advantages and Innovations
The pillow is a unique patented medical product, which was not previously available on the market in this form. It can be used in a variety of ways to relieve pressure on the breasts: after surgery on the female breast, such as cancer treatment, breast reduction or augmentation, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in physiotherapy and wellness centers on massage tables and even in tattoo studios, but also for women who prefer to sleep in a prone position.
The cover is made of breathable and skin-friendly natural fibre (Lyocell).
Technical Specification or Expertise Sought
The company seeks partners in either healthcare or commercial sectors, particularly those focused on women’s wellness. Ideal partners should have experience in distributing or marketing products for women, healthcare, or wellness, and the ability to connect with relevant markets such as hospitals, clinics, spas, or retail channels. Partners who share the mission of improving women’s
comfort and quality of life are highly valued.

Expected Role of a Partner
