The German company, founded in 1999, has specialized in the development, production and distribution of desiccant bags and dehumidifiers. They supply industrial and wholesale customers worldwide as well as German and foreign government authorities. Relevant industries are e.g., automotive, mechanical / plant engineering, steel, chemical / oil industry, pharma, and food.
Actually, the company is looking for a business partner in Turkey, acting as reseller for their range of container desiccants manufactured in Germany. Container desiccants play an essential role in the securing of cargo as they protect the cargo during transport and storage from moisture damage, such as mould, rust, detached labels and changes in odour and taste.
Product specification of the container desiccants:
• High-performance desiccant based on salt and starch: absorption capacity min. 200 %
of its own weight (independently confirmed), effective duration more than 60 days.
• Efficient prevention of cargo sweat and container rain by reducing the relative humidity
in the container – thus, mold, corrosion and peeled-off labels are prevented.
• Effectiveness confirmed for various transport routes, climatic zones and storage locations, i.e. no impairment of performance in laboratory tests with extreme temperature fluctuations between -40°C and +37°C.
• Food compliance in indirect contact independently confirmed.
• Various shapes, sizes and means of attachment available.
A business partner can expect continuous product optimisation through the company’s own product management and an orientation towards market demand. With their wide range of desiccants - including silica gel packets and desiccant bags according to DIN 55473 – the company can also cover other areas and process steps for the respective customer’s needs.

Expected Role of a Partner
The company is looking for a distribution partner in Turkey. The Turkish partner should be well connected to sectors like transport & logistic, shipment & packaging, or, generally, to companies in the automotive, mechanical / plant engineering, steel, chemical / oil industry, pharma and food sector, that export their products worldwide. The partner should have sufficient premises to take delivery of the container desiccants by the pallet, store them on their premises and ship them to their customers from their location in Turkey. It would be an asset if the partner already has experience in trading with German companies. The partner has to have the necessary KKDIK / Turkey REACH certificate to import the products and put them on the Turkish market. Without this certificate, the import of the products and thus a partnership is not possible. The current idea for the business relationship is that the German company sells the container desiccants at a lower price to the Turkish partner and the latter resells them profitably to its own customers. The company provides the container desiccants to the Turkish partner by the pallet (mixed pallets also possible) ex works at the German production site.
