A research group of an internationally oriented German university offers its expertise to join other consortia within the framework of Horizon Europe calls. It actively works in the field of modern electromagnetics and nanoelectronic devices and posesses a solid background in both theoretical and practical research, enabling it to deal with challenging tasks that include both analysis and practical implementation.
The research group has many years of experience in designing, modeling, simulating, manufacturing and measuring various passive and active devices, circuits and systems in the following areas:
• Solar cells, especially organic solar cells
• Hetero-integration and packaging of microwave and optical devices
• Thin-film microwave, mm-wave and THz devices
• Electromagnetic shielding
• Flexible electronics, especially high frequency flexible devices and circuits
• Metasurface antennas and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces
• Semiconductor memories, especially RRAM (resistive random-access memories) cell for in-memory computation
The group's main focus is on predevelopment and development activities, covering the concept stage, the development stage, and lab tested technologies. - Advantages and Innovations
