Most plastic waste is landfilled or incinerated, and the small fraction that is recycled is made into low-grade new plastic. Current recycling technologies can only recycle a limited range of plastic streams. To address this issue, we developed a unique patented chemical recycling technology that can transform most types of plastic waste into three high-quality industrial product families: solvents, oils, and waxes. Our process ends the life of plastic. Therefore, we help proactively clean the planet from plastic waste and reduce global dependency on fossil fuels. About us We are pioneers in the chemical recycling field. When we began developing our technology in 2003, we were one of the first companies to identify the commercial potential of plastic waste. In 2006, we expanded our research lab into an R&D plant, and in 2018 we built the industrial demonstration plant in South Africa, which served as proof of concept.
