The Italian SME is involved in many amplifier development programs in both the space and defense fields. The SME has acquired a specific know-how in the development of power supplies for X-band and Ka-band transmitters: klystron filament and anodic power supply.
The Italian SME designs and builds high-performance power supplies for specific applications by developing modules, mechanics, interconnections and embedded testing systems.
With its pluriannual experience in software and firmware development, the Italian SME is engaged in solutions for logistics, warehouse and database management.
In the fields of telemedicine and for medical compartment solutions. The Italian SME leads R&D projects involving universities and scientific research bodies.
As part of the ESA program to track the network of stations, The Italian SME has a long experience in design, construction and maintenance of high power transmitters in space and defence fields. The Italian SME has contributed to the realization e integration of 20kW X and 500W Ka band transmitters currently installed .
The Italian SME develops Printed Cyrcuit boards for signal processing, signal conditioning and powering. Units are completely developed in compliance with customers electromechanical requirements.
The SME can realize mechanical parts and electrical integration such as wiring and interconnections with other units.
Our engineering process allows to develop systems from “Proof of Compliance” (POC) to “First of Class” (FOC) level.
As well as design and prototyping process, The Italian SME deals with the mass
production of systems up to packaging and aftersale services. - Advantages and Innovations
