General information

Short Summary
The German company has developed an intelligent barricade that offers effective protection against aggressor vehicles. Equipped with 360° cameras, a chassis and the latest communication interfaces, the barricade is also able to operate autonomously and transmit all information, recordings and the live stream to the relevant police control center
Full Description
We encounter barricades in everyday life both at public festivals to temporarily secure a perimeter and in the cityscape to cordon off thoroughfares or local areas. Not all objects currently available as barricades provide effective protection against aggressor vehicles. One example is the widely used "Lego brick" made of concrete. It psychologically suggests a certain level of security, but does not provide any physical protection. There are also a number of certified barricades that can stop a vehicle, but this is done without raising the alarm or passing on information of any kind.

The newly developed intelligent barricade is equipped with cameras in a 360° field of vision. It has a chassis and can therefore block demonstration trains or guide them on the move. It can be remote-controlled via encrypted internet connections or operate autonomously. At the perimeter, the body is lowered hydraulically until it rests on the ground under its own weight. In the event of an incident, the impacting force of the aggressor vehicle is dissipated into the ground over the entire footprint thanks to the shape of the IB. The local area is alerted. At the same time, all information, recordings and the live stream are transmitted to the relevant police control ce.nter. In addition, countermeasures such as water cannons, etc. can be initiated to neutralize or tactically arrest aggressors.
