The Company implemented a natural design of Image Scanning Microscopy (ISM) based on a revolutionary fast single-photon detector array (SPAD).
PRISM (Pixel-Reassignment Image Scanning Microscope) is the new confocal microscope product family based on the ISM technique, which enables spatial and temporal super-resolution at the same time.
This innovative microscope constitutes the new paradigm in the field of optical microscopy and imaging, and sets the new state-of-the-art of the confocal microscopy generation. - Advantages and Innovations

ISM improve the effective spatial resolution of conventional confocal laser scanning microscopy to its theoretical limit (down to 100nm lateral res.), without compromising any of its functionalities and while allowing for single-photon counting capabilities (down to 150ps temporal res.).
While other implementations of ISM can reduce versatility and restrict combination with fluorescence spectroscopy techniques, such as fluorescence lifetime, our solution allows direct access to the raw scanned images and to the temporal information, enabling for straightforward
upgrade of any confocal microscope.
