Full Description
Efficient wastewater management is a growing challenge in the Mediterranean region, particularly in sectors with high environmental impact. This project seeks to introduce innovative bio-based approaches for wastewater treatment, fostering new business opportunities within the circular economy.
The key objectives are: Develop and validate a scalable system for wastewater valorization; Transform wastewater into high-value bioproducts for industrial and agricultural use; Enhance resource efficiency and environmental sustainability; Promote cross-border collaboration for knowledge and technology transfer; Assess market opportunities and ensure regulatory compliance.
The project team is building a strong consortium of research institutions, industry partners, and innovation clusters. The proposal will be submitted under Interreg NEXT MED (Priority 2 – Green Transition). Expression of Interest (EOI) deadline: April 15.
