The winery is in province of Verona in the nort east of Italy. 35 hectares of vineyards distributed in three DOC (in Roncà for Lessini, Soave and Berici Hills), a modern cellar with about 7,000 meters and 350,000 bottles produced for a total of 16 labels. Great Soave, expression of the volcanic soil; red wines with great balance, from the Berici Hills calcareous soil, and the sparkling Lessini Durello characterized by the mineral and fineness of the Monti Lessini. Full Description
The company produces Soave doc that represents the most significant appellation within the doc’s scene in Veneto. Produced in the eastern part of the hill arc complex of the province of Verona. The unique oenological personality of the doc that it produces – Soave Classico and Soave – also lies at the same time in the dialogue established between the two types of grapes.
Furthermore, it produces Cabernet and Merlot finding favorable environment, to the local Tai Rosso, ruby red colored wine, characterized by a particularly pleasant mouthfeel, freshness and soft tannins. Land of wines with great personality, molded by well-defined environmental aspects: calcareous rocks, soils with red clay, basaltic of volcanic origin and limited annual precipitations.
Another kind of wine produces is Durella intertwined wit the history of the Lessini Mountains. The first evidence of the variety dates back to the prehistorical ages, as evidenced by the findings of the fossil finds, ancestors of the nowadays Vitis vinifera, occurred in Vestenanova di Bolca in the upper Alpone Valley. Durella is the indigenous variety of the Lessini Mountains, an ancient and rustic vine that gives golden grapes whose main characteristic is a typical sour taste and a thick skin rich in tannins.
