Full Description
Established in 2022, a Korean start-up has developed a digital sniffer dog utilizing an olfactory AI deep learning model. The technology collects gases from a subject’s body or belongings and detects scent in the air by using an olfactory recognition system.
The Korean company has completed a design of the digital olfactory data collection system and a multi-channel gas sensor array. This digital sniffer dog is pre-learned with scent data, enabling it to identify specific scent in real time and analyze whether a subject is carrying drugs.
Compared to traditional sniffer dogs which need rest after inspection, the digital sniffer dog operates continuously with automated detection allowing large-scale and round-the-clock inspection. Moreover, the system is capable of learning and identifying new drugs via AI deep learning, so it can reduce training time and maintenance cost.
Unlike existing x-ray machines or ions scanners in airports, ports and customs, the Korean company’s system leads to faster and more efficient inspections by digitizing and analyzing scent through multidimensional data. The system provides reliable real-time detection results in security settings without physical contact with a subject. It also boasts high precision in detecting even little amount of drugs.
The Korean company is looking for partners who can commercialize the digital sniffer dog as a distributor under commercial agreement with technical assistance, investment agreement and research & development cooperation agreement. The preferred partners have a capability of B2G sales or have government network to facilitate widespread deployment and implementation of this technology.
