The hospital is one of the largest employers in the region which also leads to great impact in several perspectives. The client is aware of its ecological responsibility and undertakes numerous efforts on multiple levels to become continuously more sustainable.
The client is reaching out to suppliers who manufacture sustainable medical products. Due to the clients’ size and variety of needs, there is a broad potential product range which might be addressed, such as clinical disposables, infusion bottles, cannulas, plastic items, surgical materials, draping materials, scalpels, dressing materials, electrocardiogram (ECG) cables, and so forth. Ideally, an existing product should be replaced by new, more sustainable ones.
Additionally manufacturers are sought willing to design new medical products or collaborate in order to improve processes in terms of ecological sustainability. Example given, the client currently works with a manufacturer on the recyclability of tubes to reduce waste.

- dressing materials
