General information
- Short Summary
- A Turkish SMe and university is looking for partnering opportunities under HORIZON-MISS-2025-06-CIT-CANCER-01call.
- Full Description
-
A Turkish SME, based in İzmir, Turkey, is an innovative technology company operating under two distinct brands; a Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform developer and IoT device manufacturer; and
a shared e-scooter fleet operator and provider of smart mobility infrastructures. With expertise in developing platforms that enhance active and sustainable urban mobility, the client has a proven track record in implementing IoT-integrated micro-mobility systems aimed at improving public health, reducing emissions, and integrating sustainable transportation into urban planning.
The client proposes to join as a technology and innovation partner, leveraging its expertise in software and IoT solutions specifically tailored for micro-mobility and active mobility infrastructures. The company’s contributions include:
• A comprehensive, data-driven MaaS platform that integrates various micro-mobility devices (e-scooters, bicycles, e-bikes) with smart urban infrastructure, facilitating seamless user experience, enhanced safety, real-time monitoring, and predictive analytics for sustainable mobility management.
• Integrated oversight, tracking, operation, and optimization of shared electric scooter fleets. This includes managing scooter availability, ensuring optimal fleet distribution, monitoring battery status, performing predictive maintenance, and analyzing usage patterns through IoT-based solutions.
• Proven capabilities in developing customized IoT modules for tracking, monitoring, and analyzing mobility devices, ensuring operational efficiency, enhanced safety, and improved urban mobility planning.
• Leveraging big data analytics and AI to quantify the positive health impacts derived from increased walking and cycling, including reduced emissions, improved air quality, and increased physical activity levels among urban populations.
Academic Collaboration (Cancer Research):
The client has already established a collaboration with a Turkish University. The university brings a robust research background in cancer biology and molecular genetics. The university will provide a critical link in analyzing and assessing the impact of active and micro-mobility interventions on cancer prevention, focusing specifically on:
• Analysis of biomarkers related to cancer risk reduction associated with increased physical activity.
• Research into how enhanced urban mobility infrastructure and policies can contribute to reduced exposure to environmental carcinogens.
• Conducting epidemiological studies correlating active mobility adoption with reduced cancer incidence and improved patient outcomes.
The presence of the acsdemic partner also provides the consortium with opportunities for further academic partnerships, enhancing cross-disciplinary collaboration and broadening the potential for impactful research dissemination.
