Full Description
are seeking an innovative passive deodorizing technology capable of reducing or eliminating unwanted odors in enclosed or semi-enclosed environments without the need for external energy input (e.g., electricity, batteries, or active airflow systems).

The solution must ensure long operational lifetime (target: >2–10 years) while maintaining stable performance over time and requiring minimal or no replacement. Cost-effectiveness is a key requirement, both in terms of materials and scalability for industrial production.

The technology must be inherently safe for direct or indirect human contact, with no release of harmful substances, volatile compounds, or secondary pollutants. Preference is given to solutions that are also safe for use in proximity to food or food-contact environments.

Desired mechanisms may include (but are not limited to): adsorption, absorption, catalytic degradation, or other passive physicochemical or biological processes. The technology should function effectively under typical ambient conditions (temperature, humidity, airflow variability).

Additional desirable features include:
- Surface bacteriostatic and/or bactericidal properties to inhibit or reduce microbial growth contributing to odors
- Capability to remove or degrade ethylene, extending the shelf life of fresh produce
- Simple or no maintenance requirements, with robustness against improper handling or environmental variability

The solution should be integrable into compact systems or it should be a coating to be applied on a filters; the solution should be adaptable to different application domains such as appliances, storage systems, or air treatment devices.

T° range: 0 - 200°C
RH (must): 50 - 90 %
RH (nice): 40 - 100 %
