Established in North Macedonia in 1957, the company is the only factory for production of waterproofing materials based on bitumen. The company covers an area of approximately 8.5 hectares and has a range of over 100 products that are widely used in construction, both in civil engineering and in building construction. According to the technology and the introduced standards, it is at the very top of the industry of building materials in the country and in the region. The wide range of products includes:
- Bitumen waterproofing membranes that are widely used in civil engineering as well as in building construction to perform waterproofing of flat roofs and roof gardens, underground facilities where there is moisture and underground water pressure;
- Elastomeric bituminous pastes (one-component homogeneous coating based on bitumen, polymer, solvents, and fillers used with the cold-applied method for waterproofing of flat roofs, bathrooms, renovation of old waterproofing);
- Diluted bitumen used as a base coat for metal, concrete and wooden surfaces;
- Industrial bitumen and bituminous mass for hot-applied method, used for sealing all types of concrete, metal, and wood joints, waterproofing of steel pipelines, tanks, pipes, flooring;
- Bitumen products for roads used in civil engineering for road construction, including polymer modified bitumen for making different types of asphalt mixes, bitumen for hot asphalt mixtures and waterproofing of bridge construction;
- Bitumen roof shingle, which is roof cover with a pad of fiberglass coated on both sides with a special bituminous mass applied to cover all types of pitch roofs with slopes between 10 and 85 degrees. In addition, at customer request, products with a particular quality and special use are also produced. The company has a warehouse for bitumen with a capacity of 3,500 tonnes and a sheltered warehouse for various types of bituminous products and raw materials. The company is export-oriented and most of the products are exported to Austria, Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Iraq,
Libya, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, and other countries. Currently, it is aiming to expand its network and to find new business partners in the European countries based on distribution agreements. Specifically, the company is interested in expanding its business network and finding new business partners form Germany, Hungary, Montenegro, Slovenia and Kosovo. The main role of the partners sought is to enable the company to reach greater visibility and expand business to these countries.
