Full Description

The company designs and manufactures facade cleaning robots. A brochure is attached.
• Mainly active in new construction, but also existing buildings.
• In new construction, they often work together with the architect, safety advisor, installation engineers, contractors, etc. The robot is then included during the design stage.
• installation of robots on existing buildings is possible. Existing buildings often have an access platform on the roof (Fassade Anlage/Fassadenbefahrsysteme). Building owners/managers get in touch when such a system does not function or needs to be replaced.

The company is located in Oldenzaal, close to the German border. In addition to the Netherlands, they are active in the UK and have recently also been involved in 4 German projects. 3 of these come via a facade architect (projects in Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg) and 1 comes via a German contractor (project in Berlin). These are not yet orders for delivery, but this will be a matter of time probably.
Currently the brochures are translated in German.

Distribution partner(s)
The company is looking for distribution partners for Germany who are active in construction & real estate and have a network in this area, so that they can actively market the systems and also install the systems. More specifically:
• A company that is (preferably) familiar with the relevant industry – design, engineering, building and construction, and has a network (architects, safety advisors, installation engineers, building owners, developers, contractors).
• After an initial period, the partner must be able to assess buildings for “fit for Kite”, height, facade profile and other architectural matters.
• The partner must be able to assess the number of surfaces required for a building and set up a quotation.
• The partner will be responsible for the installation and (long-term) support of the system with the help of the Kite dealer support organization. Installation involves placing the anchor points on the roof (drilling holes + securing anchors in the roof floor) and on the ground and commissioning the robot and teaching the clients how to use it.
• The partner invoices the building customer and Kite invoices the distribution partner, where the partner is responsible for installation and the execution of a (permanent) service contract.

The system is able to generate a return on investment and operating margins that are well above the current standards, with approximately savings of 80% on operational expenses.

- The systems cleans with 500 m2/hr
The system is able to clean the outside on a building 10 times faster than the current way of cleaning (40 m2/hr), while increasing the quality of cleaning: the entire façade is cleaned - windows, frames and paneling The building will be cleaned in no time.

People at risky heights are completely avoided, as the technology does not require personnel on platforms or working as mountaineers.

-Environmentally sustainable
Environmental friendliness is achieved through the use of demineralised water (without chemicals), which does not harm the environment and gives outstanding cleaning results, at the same time it meets BREEAM building management standards. You save energy (up to 75%) and earn BREEAM points.
