Innovative algorithms to quantify state-of-the-art battery compliance in terms of time and efficiency, control of electrode surface condition and electrolyte depletion (safe, affordable and reliable battery operation and compatible with the battery passport concept) using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy data (or measurements using an alternative current) can be part of a battery management system (BMS) design for single module operation or recombination (reconfiguration) of battery modules or blocks for consolidated and new battery technologies. Data from electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and calculation of capacitance and capacitance dispersion can be used to detect electrode condition and electrolyte depletion. The resulting data is simply transformed into visible images using open source software and can be trusted with further use of artificial intelligence. Algorithms have been tested on primary battery systems and have shown good results for detecting the effects of temperature, controlling electrode damage, and changes in electrolyte concentration. More than 100 electrochemical systems have been tested according to the proposed algorithms using open software. This proposal has a national patent and implementation in the production of electronic devices after the implementation of the National Scientific Project funded by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Solar hydrogen production technologies can be used to improve the reliability and stability of the power supply system proposed by using photovoltaic systems to convert solar energy into a hydrogen chemical energy collector as a kind of new multi-purpose energy storage solution and the opportunity to realize the possibility of efficient operation of hybrid storage in grid-modes connected, grid-following and grid-forming. The Institute could produce photoanodes for photovoltaic cells and elements required for efficient hydrogen reduction using narrow-bandgap semiconductors, which can be achieved by surface modification of photoanodes from CdSe, GaAs, InP, etc. with nanoparticles and quantum dots of the corresponding metals, for example Pt, Zn or Au or semiconductors such as ZnS or CdS.
Materials for energy applications increase the kinetic characteristics of devices by more than 15% and 10% for ammonia decomposition technologies, technologies for the production of microfertilizers and feed additives, monitoring the health of batteries, cleaning large surfaces from radionuclides and toxic compounds, and producing solar hydrogen for household appliances.

The target partners are: European academic institutions with their own technological base, research centers specializing in processes and energy storage, biomedical purposes, agricultural complexes and small enterprises to realize the possibility of increasing the level of readiness of scientific products to TRL5-7.

The client is looking for the following types of agreements: a partnership agreement in the Horizon EU Research and Innovation Framework (2021-2027), contracts for the creation of a Joint Research Center, creation of license agreements and patents to increase the level of readiness of scientific products.
