General information
- Short Summary
-
Italian startup that operates in digital tourism, patented and registered an innovative VR Cardboard that allows distribution and viewing of digital content in VR via smartphone.
The PMI produces digital VR tourist guides using immersive technologies that can be used by public thanks to Cardboard VR. The startup aims to develop an AI system capable of offering tourists using digital guides a digital butler able to interact and provide them with useful information in their native language. - Full Description
-
The main objective of the Italian start-up is to offer tourists all the necessary information such as where to find a doctor, where to find a pharmacy open at night, how to call a taxi or where to find any other type of necessary service, including cultural ones.
Information that, without the AI butler, they would not be able to obtain.
What we need to understand is that in Italy there are some difficulties, such as the presence of thousands of small towns where it is not always easy to find useful information and where it is not always easy to find people who speak foreign languages.
Thanks to an AI butler it would be possible for any foreign tourist to obtain useful information that would be difficult to find personally or via Google or other search engines.
The AI system aims to provide an intuitive interface through the use of a digital avatar, capable of responding verbally to the user's questions, facilitating interaction, but above all offering unsuspected potential for the valorization of local resources and the promotion of sustainable tourism.
At the heart of this objective is the idea of providing usable information, offering tourists a tool capable of improving the tourist experience.
Furthermore, the AI butler would be able to help tourists by providing them with analyzes of local tourist traffic, suggesting targeted itineraries capable of redirecting tourist routes towards museum centers or other less crowded cultural attractions.
Another key objective of the AI Butler will be to analyze the environmental impact of tourism. The platform aims to quantify the carbon footprint, the use of public services and the production of waste associated with tourism activity, providing a clear vision of the environmental impact. This analysis could be useful for identifying low-carbon tourist routes, thus helping tourists to make more informed choices. - Advantages and Innovations
-
This proposal represents a leap in quality in the Italian tourist offer, since thanks to the AI Butler it will be possible to offer tourists a wide range of concrete solutions based on the country's environmental sustainability.
1. Predictive analytics: Using advanced machine learning models, the platform will be able to predict tourist influx to different areas or attractions during various times of the year. These forecasts will be essential for tourists to better plan their holidays
2. Route Optimization: Route optimization algorithms will be used to provide suggestions on how to create alternative routes, thus helping to improve the tourist experience and reduce congestion.
3. Recommendation systems: An AI-based recommendation system will be developed to provide personalized suggestions to tourists on attractions, itineraries or services, improving the visitor experience and promoting lesser-known attractions.
4. Intuitive User Interface and Dynamic Views: An intuitive user interface with dynamic data views will allow for easy exploration and interpretation of information, making the platform accessible to a wide range of users. - Stage of Development
