General information
- Short Summary
-
A Polish company, founded in 2015, that has developed a medical device which is an innovative wound regeneration technology used, for example, in the treatment of diabetic foot.
It was created to effectively prevent limb amputations, improve joint and bone injuries or treat neurological disorders and pain.
The company is looking to expand its customer base and is interested in international cooperation under distribution services agreements. - Full Description
-
The company mission is to create innovative medical solutions for a wide range of patients in order to improve their health, enhance their quality of life and quickly return to full participation in the broader socio-economic life.
Their main product is the medical device for wound regeneration, an original invention by a Polish professor, developed and manufactured by the company.
It was created to effectively prevent limb amputations, improve joint and bone injuries or treat neurological disorders and pain. That offers innovative treatments and gives patients the chance to heal, improve their lives and restore function, avoiding the need for amputation.
The device speeds up the wound recovery process, so it can be used as a primary or complementary method.
The medical device uses a synergy of different therapeutic agents to treat hard-to-heal wounds, oedema, osteoarticular or neurological conditions. The device is a multifunctional therapeutic device, fully certified by the TUV Nord notified body as a Class IIa medical device.
The therapy is recommended for patients with:
- diabetic complications, including diabetic foot,
- diabetic microangiopathy
- amputation wounds,
- post-operative wounds,
- burn lesions of the extremities,
- leg ulcers,
- wounds of the limbs that are difficult to heal,
- chronic wounds due to venous insufficiency and arterial vascularisation,
- purulent skin infections,
- swellings of lymphatic aetiology.
The company is looking for distribution partners with a broad sales and distribution network in the markets of the European Economic Area, the Middle East and Africa. - Advantages and Innovations
-
The product is characterized by a holistic approach to the healing process, thanks to the use of combination therapy with four different agents, viz:
• topical oxygen
• ozone
• pulsed electromagnetic fields
• red and ultraviolet light.
Also important is the ability to combine them flexibly. Depending on the type and severity of the condition, the device offers the possibility of modifying the level of individual factors, or applying individual interventions. This allows personalization of therapy.
The device, while having a broad therapeutic effect, is minimally invasive. It does not burden the entire body with agents that are indicated for local therapeutic use. It speeds up the recovery process of a wound or osteoarticular injury, so it can be used as a primary or complementary method. - Stage of Development
