The line of innovative preparations is based on active forms of silver. The products guarantee thorough antibacterial and antifungal protection. This is a response to the needs of the livestock market, in which the large-scale use of antibiotics has become a serious threat. Negative side effects and the rapid growth of resistant strains are the issues that both breeders and veterinarians struggle with. Searching for alternative methods, the company created a line of preparations that allow to significantly extend the period of microbiological protection. Our line is a new standard in protection against pathogens.
Silver is an element highly valued for its catalytic properties, thermal and electrical conductivity and, above all, for the fact that it can destroy pathogens - bacteria, viruses, fungi. The high antimicrobial activity of this element has been used since ancient times. In that period, the mechanisms responsible for the high antimicrobial effectiveness of silver were not known. In present times, their multitude and principles of action explain not only the efficiency but also the inability of pathogenic cells to develop resistance to silver. The last feature is becoming particularly important in the present era of increasing antibiotic resistance of many bacterial strains.
The development of technology has made it possible to use silver particles on the nanometer scale. Significant fragmentation of this material opens new possibilities to distribute it and, at the same time, it is possible to achieve very high antimicrobial effectiveness even at very low concentrations. Moreover, silver is characterised by relatively low toxicity to humans and animals. All of the above make silver one of the most attractive alternatives to many medical products and biocides nowadays.
The line composes of variety of products:
• Biocidal product for the disinfection of livestock housing is an innovative preparation that contains active silver, intended to disinfect surfaces of materials used for breeding and transport of animals. Systematic use of the product supports maintenance of veterinary hygiene in livestock housing, helps to improve animal welfare, and supports veterinary prophylaxis. A special formula based on nanocomplexes of silver ensures a two-phase prolonged action. The product can be used for disinfection of all kinds of surfaces and farm equipment.
• Products for care and protection of the udder of dairy cows contains active forms of silver. Systematic use of the preparation reduces the occurrence of mastitis. Thanks to its special design, the formula ensures appropriate hydration of skin of teats and prevents their drying out.
