General information

Short Summary
A Polish company specializing in industrial energy systems and switchgear production has developed an intelligent safety device for low- and medium-voltage switchgear. The system, named DZIK (Event Detection and Control Detector), includes a microcomputer and a set of sensors for real-time monitoring of critical parameters. The company seeks international partners for product integration, distribution or co-development.
Full Description
Polish company, active in the industrial power sector, designs and manufactures low- and medium-voltage switchgear. Its in-house R&D department has developed an innovative safety-enhancement product aimed at improving operational security and reducing the risk of hazardous incidents such as electrical fires.

The product — DZIK (Detector of Events and Control) — is a compact sensor-microcontroller system that can be installed directly in electrical switchgear. It monitors several safety-critical parameters in real time, including:

temperature,

smoke detection,

air composition,

electric arc presence.

The onboard microcontroller is capable of:

sending real-time alerts to building management systems (BMS), remote monitoring centers or users via communication protocols,

triggering emergency shutdowns of the switchgear if hazardous thresholds are exceeded.

The company estimates that continuous monitoring and automated response can reduce fire risk by up to 90%. The system is currently entering the Polish market and is available for custom integration into third-party switchgear or safety architectures.
Advantages and Innovations
Unique in its class: One of the few modular safety-monitoring systems dedicated to electrical switchgear.

- Developed entirely in-house by an experienced R&D team;

- Compatible with both low- and medium-voltage systems;

- Local and remote communication capabilities for real-time response;

- Significantly reduces incident risk (fire, arc fault, overheating) through preventive diagnostics;

- Easy integration into new or existing infrastructure.
