General information

Short Summary
The PT SME is searching IoT hardware providers focusing on installation and maintenance of submetering solutions for electricity, gas, and water, under a commercial agreement. The ideal partner should provide devices in one or all of the three mentioned with seamless data integration capabilities, preferably through MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) or other straightforward protocols relying on server and API (Application Programming Interface) connectivity.
Full Description
The PT Company provides a cloud-based energy analytics and decarbonization platform that allows businesses to monitor, analyze, their energy sustainability targets and build optimal strategies in reaching these goals.

The company seeks a hardware partner to integrate IoT-based submeters into its system to enhance utility data collection, especially for electricity, gas, and water consumption.

Technical Requirements:
• Communication Protocols: MQTT, HTTP API, or other standard integration-friendly methods;
• Data Logging & Connectivity: Support for edge level configuration with API-based data extraction for real-time information;
• Multi-Utility Monitoring (is a plus): Ability to track electricity, water, and gas consumption within a single system. However, being focused on one utility is sufficient;
• Scalability: The hardware should be flexible for different building typologies, including industrial, commercial, and residential properties;
• Security & Compliance: The devices must adhere to cybersecurity standards and comply with European data collection and processing regulations.

Potential applications include energy audits, real-time monitoring, and sustainability reporting, helping businesses improve efficiency and meet their carbon reduction goals.

The company is interested in hardware providers for a commercial agreement; ideal partner should provide devices in one or all of the three mentioned (electricity, gas, and water) with seamless data integration capabilities, preferably through MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) or other straightforward protocols relying on server and API (Application Programming Interface) connectivity.
Advantages and Innovations
The PT SME offers an AI-powered cloud-based analytics platform that transforms raw metering data into actionable sustainability insights for businesses. Unlike conventional submetering solutions, which often focus only on electricity, the Company provides a cross-utility monitoring system that integrates electricity, water, and gas into a single dashboard.
The plug-and-play integration with open APIs ensures seamless connectivity with third-party meters, allowing for easy deployment and scalability across different building types. Additionally, the system offers automated reporting, real-time energy alarms, and peak demand analysis, enabling energy managers to make proactive, data-driven decisions. By providing a fully cloud-based, AI-driven solution, it enhances operational efficiency, reduces utility wastes, and supports businesses in achieving their sustainability goals with minimal setup costs.
