- A Romanian company manufactures quality classical socks, as well as sewn socks for different activities, such as sports and trekking. Products are manufactured using cotton, bamboo and elastane fibres, based on the company’s original models. The Romanian company was established in 2012 in Transylvania and specialises in manufacturing socks for men and women, in different categories. All products are manufactured based on the company’s own original designs. The firm’s portfolio includes the following product categories, available for both men and women:
- Classical, simple socks, in different colours;
- Short, above the ankle socks with cushion and reinforcement threads for the top and heel areas, in different colours;
- Short sport socks, under the ankle, in different colours;
- TREK-U socks;
- low cut socks;
- sewn socks Polartek/Lorpen;
Products are manufactured using quality natural and synthetic fibres including bamboo, cotton and elastane which the company is currently sourcing from Bulgaria (cotton and bamboo), Poland (elastane) and Spain (cotton). Socks are available in standard sizes: 35-37, 38-40, 39-41, 41-43, and 44-46.
Products are manufactured using state of the art equipment which the Romanian firm has acquired through the successful implementation of two non-refundable European projects. It is currently the only Romanian company offering sewn socks. The Romanian company currently has a manufacturing capacity of approx. 10.000 items/month.
The company currently addresses the Romanian market where it sells its products directly via the company’s website or with the support of distributors. For sewn socks, the company also addresses the European market, especially Germany, via distributors in the textile area.
Aiming to expand its business and ensure a high quality of the products offered, the Romanian company seeks new international suppliers for the following fibres used in the manufacturing process:
- combed and carded cotton
- technical fibres: Coolmax, Thermolite, bamboo and Tencel
- synthetic fibres: polyamide, spandex/elastane, elastic

The Romanian company seeks new international suppliers for textile and technical fibres with the following characteristics:
For textile fibres:
- combed and carded cotton between 20/1 and 24/1 Ne, in the following colours black, dark blue, white and other colours
The company will place orders of approx. 500 kg/order (mixed colours), every 2 months.
For technical fibres:
The company seeks suppliers of Coolmax, Tencel, Thermolite and bamboo fibres in a wide assortment. Technical specifications will be discussed with interested partners.
For synthetic fibres:
- polyamide fibres: 70/2 tex
- spandex/elastane fibres: 20/70/1 tex
