Dynamic and experienced Research Group within a Spanish University Engineering Faculty is actively seeking partners or already formed consortiums to apply for Horizon Europe calls contributing with expertise in Health 4.0. The group conducts applied research,developing innovative tools and interventions to enhance the lives of disabled individuals and address health issues such as cáncer or cardiovascular disease among others with approaches based on artificial inteligence predictive models.

The Research Group, established in 2002, is a diverse team of telecommunications, electronics, and software engineers, physicists, mathematicians, and psychologists. Committed to research and development of ICT-based tools for psychological, social, and physical health, eVida has built strong collaborations with local stakeholders, including hospitals, charities, research groups, and ICT companies, all at the international level.
With over a decade of experience in Horizon Europe and similar calls, Research Group focuses on two main research areas: Health and Well-Being 4.0.
In the field of ICTs for Well-Being, the group designs, develops, and tests AI-driven tools and platforms to empower disabled individuals and the elderly, fostering independent living. Current projects involve the creation of apps and devices for informal learning, person-centered care programs, and telemedicine systems. This applied research extends to diverse groups, including people with intellectual disabilities, autism, visual impairments, hearing impairments, and multiple sclerosis, showcasing our commitment to leveraging AI for inclusive and impactful solutions. Our expertise in AI is in both, classical and quantum computer.
In the health sector, the group specializes in creating diagnostic tools and interventions for conditions like skin and lung cancer, epilepsy, migraines, dyslexia, and bed sores. Our research integrates cutting-edge technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced biosignal processing. This approach involves meticulous analysis of signals such as speech, ECG, EMG, EEG, and medical imaging modalities like MRI, neuro fMRI, dermoscopy, and stroboscopy images.
Aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda, the group actively supports and implements its principles across all projects and research lines. The group's contributions address several Sustainable Development Goals, including good health and well-being, quality education, gender equality, climate action, industry, innovation, and infrastructure, as well as partnerships for the goals. The Research Group is now seeking partners or a consortium for Horizon Europe projects in the fields of ICTs for WellBeing and Health.
