Full Description
The Spanish research centre, a private non-profit foundation, focuses on advancing computer science and artificial intelligence. Engaging in over 75 European, national, and regional research and development projects, it applies cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), bioinformatics, distributed ledgers, cybersecurity, IoT, and quantum computing across diverse sectors, including industry 4.0, e-health, transport, precision agriculture, fintech, and smart cities. The center has a wide experience due to its work with more than Collaborating with more than 275 entities globally, it has become a key reference centre nationally and internationally.

The centre has the necessary organisational, human, and material resources to carry out its R&D&I activities, and any organisation or company that carries out its activities in Spain can benefit from its services. Its governing body, the foundation's board of trustees, has most companies among its trustees, which, in close collaboration with its advisory council, made up of experts from the business world and other research organisations (universities and technology centres), has enabled it to efficiently transfer the results of its R&D&I to private companies, with subcontracting accounting for more than 50% of its annual income.

The project aims to develop an innovative framework based on trustworthy artificial intelligence for cognitive services in the service industry. The focus is on process optimization, sustainability, and social responsibility. This framework will incorporate key technologies such as digital twins, IoT, robots/cobots, big data analytics, virtual/augmented reality, and cybersecurity. It will be integrated into the FIWARE platform and validated in different service industry scenarios in Europe.

The Spanish centre is looking partners to participate in HORIZON-CL5-2024-D6-01-06 to achieve research and development cooperation agreements. The centre is looking for partners such as: research and development technology companies, universities, digital technology companies, sectorial companies, and educational entities.

The official deadline of the call is 7th February, and the research centre accepts expression of interest until 6th of February. The estimated duration of the project will be 3 years.
