The Spanish technology centre is specialized in providing innovative solutions and conducting research in several areas, including sustainable agriculture and viticulture industry. The center offers innovative and sustainable techniques for vineyard cultivation and winemaking, addressing the main challenges of the sector. The current state of the art includes traditional cultivation methods and conventional winemaking practises that can lack efficiency and sustainability. The centre´s technology addresses these limitations by providing advanced vine growing techniques that improve grape quality, disease resistance and yield optimisation.
The centre offers the following technology:
● Oenological, microbiological, and sensory analyses for the oenological sector.
● Complete analysis of grapes, musts, and wines. Methanol analysis. Microbiological analysis.
● Finished product ageing and stability tests.
● Biotechnology applied to the wine industry.

The centre works with companies in the wine and brewery sector on experimental contracts, carrying out development activities in their facilities. Supported by its own fully equipped laboratory with an inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometer (ICP-OES), atomic absorption spectrophotometer, OENOFOSS (equipment that allows instant analysis of the entire wine production process), automatic titrators, scales, ovens, pH-meters, conductivity meters, density meters, among others, which allow it to carry out analyses of mycotoxins, wine-making evolution parameters and microbiological parameters in general.
It also has a walk-in climatic chamber, which allows in-vitro cultures to be carried out, emulating extreme conditions in crops. In particular, it has a high-capacity portable ozone generator, with a 100-litre tank and an ozonated water cooling system, which enables it to carry out disinfection and microorganism elimination processes in winery facilities and in other environments related to the production of alcoholic beverages. - Stage of Development
