General information

Short Summary
The Spanish company is a certified "Innovative SME".

They develop their own technology in order to bring solutions for the following markets:
• IoT Projects. Their app includes algorithms and intelligence
• Network and IT monitoring, which helps in preventing cyberattacks
• Storage monitoring
• Software development and support for companies that have an app niche
Full Description
The Spanish company has been developing the concept of real pay-per-use applied to global technology markets since 2000, when it was incorporated in Madrid.

From servers to printers, and from software applications to data storage, they have developed the proprietary infrastructure necessary to monitor, measure and bill usage per seat, per license, per gigabyte, per print, per month... whatever metric is relevant to the technology provider.

This focus on pay-per-use has created a truly unique company whose efforts have been leveraged by world-class players:
• Worldwide: Network Appliances Storage On Demand software.
• Europe-wide: Hewlett-Packard's BizMax software, Telefonica, Lexmark.
• From a technology provider customer perspective: Accenture, Banco Santander, Electronic Arts, Philips Semiconductors, PriceWaterhouse, Indra, Siemens…

Their successful monitoring tools evolved into an IoT offering where the major reference is one of the biggest Moroccan banks where our technology monitors their branches (more than 300) in areas such as temperature, light, humidity, power consumption, etc. and automatically triggers the planned response (turn on/off A/C, heating, lights...).

SaaS Capabilities:
The Spanish SME has fully integrated proprietary software, hardware and process know-how that enables automated and real pay-per-use at a very low transaction cost.

Current capabilities include metering and billing; device management, including secure and efficient device communication; automated management of all information for specific vendor software; software development consultancy; and user behaviour analysis and reporting.

Specifically for SaaS, Pulsar has adopted a product development strategy which:
• Provides a variety of non-intrusive data collection options.
• Integrates easily without any development effort on the part of the software vendor customer.
(See diagram in the picture in “Media” section)

Management:
Founder and CEO, brings over 12 years of finance and operations experience from technology powerhouses Hewlett-Packard and Silicon Graphics, with global responsibilities. The CFO also has many years of international experience at Schindler Europe, and the rest of the management team includes a former senior manager at Wincor Nixdorf for the African headquarters.

Partner Sought

Expected Role of a Partner
The ideal partner should bring potential projects or market opportunities in their business territories. They should have the technical staff to provide first class customer support. The Spanish company is also looking for partners who may have some of the technology available, but are looking for other parts from external sources, in which case the Spanish SME can enter into exclusive relationships.

In the IoT field, the Spanish company has a unique dashboard application that can be easily combined with any sensor. They are looking for distributors of their dashboard application to combine it with sensors and local communications.

For the network monitoring tool, they are looking for partners to provide managed services. Their specialized tool can help automating manual tasks, while preventing or analysing potential traffic threats. They are also interested in HW/SW/end-user solution providers who want to include such tools in their portfolio offering.

In addition, they have experience implementing ERP in multiple countries, including multi-company consolidation. They use Odoo as their ERP engine.
