General information

Short Summary
SME from Greece with expertise in processing and supplying specialised building materials for restoration projects is interested in concluding commercial agreements with agents and distributors abroad.
Full Description
This Greek family-run company, with a history of over 40 years, offers a range of products for the restoration of listed buildings, as well as historical and traditional settlements. It covers applications such as injectors, joints, coatings, color finishes, and raw materials such as pozzolan, hydraulic lime, ready-mix mortars to guard against humidity, and thermal insulation made from cork. It also offers pumice stone, which has a variety of uses and is known for its ecological properties.

The company is located in private facilities covering an area of 13 acres. These facilities include both enclosed and open product storage spaces, as well as processing areas and packing units.

The company operates according to ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 27001: 2013. It has won a prestigious European heritage award on 10 occasions. It has also developed strong partnerships with academic institutions both in Greece and abroad for research into new building composites (especially using nano-technology), as well as recovery of construction materials to reduce waste.

The client is interested in concluding commercial agreements with agents and distributors abroad.
Advantages and Innovations
The Greek company specializes in using pumice stone, which is a porous, volcanic mineral, and a completely natural, ecological, lightweight product, with a variety of uses. It is ideal for the construction of structural products, is used in hydroponics and large areas dedicated to planting. It is suitable for the enrichment of the topsoil, as well as for specialized uses, such as green roofs, stone washing of denim fabrics, etc. The morphology and characteristics of pumice make it an excellent material for the above activities. Depending on each use (construction, horticultural-nursery, agricultural, household, specialized), the company can grade and package the product accordingly.

The company is also active in various projects focused on sustainability, as well as inclusion:-
- member of an initiative to promote the use of non-cement materials particularly in the tourism sector and create spaces and to raise awareness about ecological restoration for use in the hotel industry
- tactile 3-dimensional maps of archaeological sites and public spaces for people suffering from vision impairment or blindness
- training centre offering theoretical seminars and practical workshops and to civil engineers, architects, maintenance workers etc., as well as to private individuals in order to learn the application of specialised building materials.
