A Swedish company operating in the engineering and manufacturing sector is currently seeking new international suppliers for the production and delivery of welded steel capsules and lids, as specified in Enquiry 25081 (attached document). All welds must be pore-free and airtight
Spiral welding (SAW) inside and outside per SS-EN ISO 5817-C
Cylinder material: 1.0347 (DC03)
Capsule material thickness: 3 mm
Blasting inside and outside per Sa 2½ ISO 8501
Tolerances per SS-ISO 2768-1 (processing) and SMS 723-B (welding)
Surfaces must be free from rust, oil, and scratches deeper than 0.1 mm
Protective packaging required to prevent moisture and rust during transport
Weld ridges must be ground after blasting (see drawing, page 5)
Lid material: 1.0347 (DC03), thickness: 3 mm, weight: 4.1 kg
One lid mounted (not welded), second lid delivered separately (see page 3)
Spiral weld width: ~6 mm, thickness: 5 mm (1 mm buildup inside and outside, see page 4)
Each capsule must pass vacuum leak testing (see page 1)
Supplier must provide MOQ, FOB price in USD, weight, HS code, CBM, pallet count and size
